First: am I eligible?
Read the current Pionex.com Terms of Service and the country restrictions on our Risks page. English-language content is not a promise of access in your country. Identity verification or a product’s own terms can add conditions.
If your eligibility is unclear, ask Pionex directly before registering or depositing. Do not use a VPN, misleading address or inaccurate identity details to bypass access rules.
Second: can I afford the full loss?
An allocation should be evaluated against a complete loss, not just a familiar daily price move. Crypto assets can collapse, a platform can become inaccessible and a strategy can fail outside its assumed conditions.
Write down the monetary loss you can absorb without compromising essentials. A stop rule is useful but is not a guarantee that you can exit at that loss. Gaps, liquidity and outages can make execution worse.
Third: what happens if the platform fails?
Consider the consequences of a frozen account, a delayed withdrawal, a security incident or operator insolvency. A centralized account requires trust in more than the trading algorithm.
This review does not independently verify reserves or solvency. Keep that limitation visible when weighing any claim about safety. An interface that works today does not guarantee access tomorrow.
Fourth: how will I recognize a broken strategy?
Specify the condition that invalidates the idea. For a range strategy, a persistent move outside the range may matter. For an averaging-down strategy, exhausted capital may matter. For leverage, collateral and liquidation thresholds matter.
Do not define success as “wait until it comes back.” That leaves the decision open-ended and encourages adding exposure without a new rationale. Decide how and when to review the whole position, including open losses.
Fifth: can I protect the account?
- Use strong multi-factor authentication and a unique password.
- Confirm the domain before entering credentials.
- Never share recovery codes or wallet seed phrases with support impersonators.
- Check receiving networks and addresses before transferring assets.
- Keep records of contributions, withdrawals, fees and positions for your own review and any applicable tax obligations.
A final check before acting
Explain the strategy, the total allocation, the costs and a plausible failure scenario in your own words. If any answer depends on guaranteed returns or a stranger’s performance screenshot, pause and do more research. Choosing not to trade is a valid outcome.
